Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Test Engineer to design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing in our Global Operations Group. You will perform diagnostic tests, create detailed specifications, and plan labor, schedules, and equipment to ensure efficient testing operations.

You will validate new test software, develop test fixtures, and collaborate across design engineering, pilot manufacturing, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Test Engineering/Development environment with in-depth knowledge of C#, Python or other scripting languages.
• Technical writing skills to communicate and document designs and procedures.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills with proven track record in managing technical projects.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and proficient in electrical circuit testing & troubleshooting.
• Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) understanding and application experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing.
• Perform diagnostic tests, design test features and equipment, and create detailed specifications for new products.
• Plan labor, schedules and equipment for testing operations.
• Validate new test software and fixtures.
• Work with SAP functions for manufacturing.
• Design, calibrate and support test fixtures and test scripts.
• Present test fixture designs and processes at engineering design reviews.
• Define and implement metrics to improve test processes
• Collaborate with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering
