Job summary

IFF is seeking an Account Manager in Malaysia to grow its Food Ingredients business by managing key accounts across the Bakery & Culinary categories. The role combines relationship-building with cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative ingredient solutions and drive revenue growth.

Based in Bandar Utama with a hybrid work model, you will work with Sales, Innovation, Product, Marketing, and Operations to meet customer needs and expand market share while maintaining excellence in

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of B2B sales and account management experience in food ingredients or related industry.
• Experience managing Bakery and/or Culinary customers is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts and distributor partners in Malaysia.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and loyalty.
• Lead end-to-end sales activities including forecasting, quotations, and negotiations.
• Translate customer needs into tailored ingredient solutions and present value offerings.
• Collaborate with IC&D, Product, Marketing, Customer Service and Operations to deliver projects on time.
• Develop strategic account plans to expand long-term partnerships and business footprint.
• Maintain an active Salesforce pipeline with accurate reporting and market intelligence.
• Monitor progress and ensure high customer satisfaction and smooth issue resolution.
• Achieve sales targets across Bakery and Culinary categories in line with business priorities.
