Job summary

Carrier Malaysia is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive modernization of HVAC systems in existing Carrier and third-party installations. You will lead technical and commercial proposals from opportunity through award, engaging building owners and consultants to deliver energy-efficient upgrades.

The role requires strong solution selling, project negotiations and a handover to operations on order close. Willingness to travel to customer sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in mechanical/HVAC disciplines.
• Professional engineering certification would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC, building services or technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization opportunities within Carrier and third-party equipment.
• Develop relationships with owners, developers and facility managers.
• Conduct site surveys and propose modernization, retrofit or energy-efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions with margins.
• Lead commercial negotiations and ensure smooth handover to operations.
