HVAC Modernization Sales Engineer

Job summary

Carrier Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to drive profitable growth in HVAC modernization across Carrier installations and third-party systems. You will combine technical HVAC knowledge with consultative selling to identify opportunities, develop proposals and oversee commercial closure.

Responsibilities include pipeline development, cost estimation, energy-saving assessments and a formal sales-to-operations handover on order award. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/HVAC/Refrigeration, Electrical Engineering or Building Services or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC, building services or technical sales.
• Experience dealing with building owners, developers, consultants and facility managers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify modernization opportunities within Carrier installed base and targeted third-party equipment.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of modernization opportunities aligned to sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions with margin in Carrier guidelines.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalization.
• Handover secured projects to Operations/Project team with complete documentation.
