Ketton Facility Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled System Operation & Maintenance lead to manage daily operation, troubleshooting, and energy management of facility utilities, including cleanroom HVAC systems and related networks.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HVAC-related field with 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor, PV, or new energy facilities, plus knowledge of automation, water systems, and electricals. Strong communication and leadership are essential.
System Operation & Maintenance: Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management of facility utility systems, including cleanroom HVAC systems (MAU/FFU/AHU), process exhaust systems, cooling water systems (PCW), chilled water systems (HV), compressed air systems (CDA), and vacuum systems (PV).
Documentation & Planning: Ability to prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment maintenance plans, repair proposals, and related technical documentation.
Project Management & Energy Saving: Participate in new project contracting and construction management; propose and implement HVAC energy-saving solutions and evaluate their effectiveness.
Validation & Compliance: Manage validation work for cleanroom HVAC systems; be familiar with HVAC and FMCS operation management as well as relevant technical standards.
Team Management & Training: Provide training and guidance to technicians; coordinate on-site construction and collaboration with other disciplines.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or above.
Professional Background: Major in HVAC engineering, refrigeration technology, air conditioning, or related fields.
Industry Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in facility systems within semiconductor, photovoltaic, or new energy industries is preferred.
Professional Knowledge: Understanding of automation/control systems, water supply and drainage, and electrical systems; familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes or facility system workflows.
Certifications: Relevant HVAC technical certifications or electrician certification preferred.
Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills and team spirit.
Responsibility & Stress Tolerance: High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze system operation data, predict issues, and diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently.
Technical Expertise: Solid professional foundation and a deep understanding of special production environment requirements to ensure continuous, stable, and efficient operation of production facilities.
Software Skills: Proficient in Office software and professional tools such as AutoCAD.
