Job summary

TAR UMT is seeking a capable HR professional to handle general HR administration, recruitment, staff development and industrial relations. The role includes budgeting, employee relations, and compiling submissions/reporting to the Ministries while supervising staff across departments.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.25, have at least two years of HR experience, and possess strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Human Resource capacity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for human resource processes where duties would include HR general administration, recruitment, staff development, industrial relation, budgeting, employee relations, submissions/ reporting to the Ministries and supervision of staff.

Job Requirements

Candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.2500 or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Human Resource capacity.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good working knowledge of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 etc.

Strong analytical skills and ability to handle work which requires attention to details.

Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (‘TAR UMT’) is a premier institution of higher learning in Malaysia set up in 1969 as TAR College by the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) to provide quality and affordable tertiary education to Malaysians.
