Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR/Administration professional to manage recruitment, payroll support, and employee records. The role requires 1–2 years of HR experience and a good grasp of payroll processes and MS Office.

You will support onboarding, leave administration, and performance initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and data confidentiality. The position is based in Malaysia with potential for team collaboration and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HRM, BA, or related field.
  • 1–2 years HR and Administration experience; fresh graduates welcomed.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour regulations.
  • Understanding of HR processes: recruitment, payroll, leave, employee relations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; HR/payroll systems are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management; ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruitment process: postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records; confidential HR documentation.
  • Assist in payroll preparation, attendance, leave administration, and claims processing.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, confirmations, transfers, and offboarding procedures.
  • Support performance appraisal, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
  • Handle HR policy inquiries regarding benefits and employment matters.
  • Prepare HR letters, employment contracts, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Oversee office administration: supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for HR and administrative documents.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, staff activities, and internal communications.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management.
