Job summary
Meinhardt EPCM Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a HSEQ & Sustainability Business Analyst to consolidate and analyse performance data across projects, offices and countries. You will develop interactive Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel tools to provide actionable insights for regional leadership.
The role focuses on digitalisation, process improvement and management reporting, with a digital mindset to transform HSEQ & Sustainability information into clear recommendations for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Business Admin, Data Analytics, IS, HSEQ, Engineering or Sustainability).
- 5–7 years of experience in HSEQ, Sustainability, EPCM, Construction or similar project-based organisations.
- Proven experience in data analytics and dashboard development.
- Experience in corporate/management reporting and executive presentations.
- Experience in digitalisation and process improvement; managing digital tools.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyse performance data across projects, offices and countries.
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel tools.
- Analyse incidents, near misses, hazards, audits, KPIs and sustainability data.
- Identify trends, hotspots and emerging risks requiring management attention.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual HSEQ & Sustainability reports for senior management.
- Develop executive reporting packs using PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel or Canva.
- Identify processes suitable for digitalisation or automation.
- Act as departmental focal point for HSEQ & Sustainability platforms.
- Maintain accurate departmental records and documentation.

The HSEQ & Sustainability Business Analyst is responsible for consolidating and analysing HSEQ & Sustainability performance data across projects, offices and countries, developing interactive dashboards and reports, driving digitalisation and process improvement initiatives, and managing digital tools and software platforms. The role requires strong data analytics capabilities, corporate reporting expertise, and a digital mindset to transform HSEQ & Sustainability information into actionable insights for senior management and regional leadership.
- Consolidate and analyse HSEQ & Sustainability performance data across projects, offices and countries
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel-based analytical tools
- Analyse data relating to incidents, near misses, hazards, observations, audits, inspections, corrective actions, training, HSEQ KPIs and sustainability performance
- Identify trends, recurring issues, hotspots, emerging risks and areas requiring management attention
- Prepare high-quality monthly, quarterly and annual HSEQ & Sustainability management reports for senior management and regional leadership
- Develop executive and board-level reporting packs using PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, Canva or equivalent tools
- Identify manual, inefficient or repetitive HSEQ & Sustainability processes suitable for digitalisation, automation or process improvement
- Act as the departmental focal point for assigned HSEQ & Sustainability digital platforms and software
- Maintain accurate departmental records, registers, databases, trackers and supporting documentation
- Develop professional HSEQ & Sustainability bulletins, newsletters, campaigns and internal communications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, HSEQ, Engineering, Sustainability or a related discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in HSEQ, Sustainability, Engineering, EPCM, Construction, Consulting or a similar project-based organisation
- Proven experience in data analytics, dashboard development, Power BI and advanced Excel
- Experience in corporate/management reporting and preparation of executive presentations
- Experience in digitalisation, process improvement and management of digital tools/software
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, macros/automation)
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Power BI
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint for corporate & management reporting
- Analytical and data-driven with ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends and insights
