Responsibilities

Inspect workplace to determine risks from machinery, equipment, substances or manual labour.
Maintain firefighting facilities, alarm systems and first aid facilities in the workplace.
Investigate accidents or injuries that occur in the workplace.
Prepare occupational risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
Monitor the effectiveness of control measures.
Ensure compliance and promote safe conduct of work.
Train staff and visitors on HSE requirements and emergency response.
Communicate with local authorities (e.g., DOSH, BOMBA) on safety matters.
Based in Bintulu Refinery and perform other duties as assigned.
