Help track and apply the latest regulatory changes from relevant authorities
Assist in monitoring and improving plant-wide HSE systems, including water treatment, sewerage, air quality, and related processes
Coordinate with external labs for analysis (e.g. MLVSS, MLSS, DO, COD) and assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting
Maintain and update Waste Water Treatment Monitoring Records (daily and monthly), flagging any variances for follow-up
Assist with monthly lab and chimney emission reports, highlighting any abnormal readings
Monitor water inlet/outlet flow to ensure compliance with authority requirements
Monitor chemical stock at the Chemical Store
Assist in conducting HSE-related training, such as firefighting and evacuation drills
Assist with medical stock and First Aid box replenishment, and support workers seeking treatment per SOP
Assist in identifying potential workplace hazards and reporting them to your superior
Support HSE equipment calibration monitoring and handling
Assist in renewing certificates for fire extinguishers, machinery, and factory compliance
Handle day-to-day administrative duties within the HSE department
Ensure departmental operating procedures are followed
Maintain proper filing of SOP documents, including pandemic-related SOPs where applicable
Assist in monitoring plant-wide hygiene, including coordinating with HR on hostel hygiene matters
On occasion, assist with accident case follow-up and liaison with DOSH or other authorities, or attend relevant external training (e.g. DOE's Competent Person training), when required to support the HSE team
On occasion, provide light support to the Maintenance team — such as assisting with basic administrative tracking of maintenance schedules or sourcing quotations for spare parts — as needed, though this is not a core part of the role
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience or internship exposure to SHE/EHS in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
