Job summary

Kow Hock Building Materials (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Recruitment Consultant to manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate interviews, and liaise with agencies for job ads. You will also handle contract administration, payroll calculations, and staff performance reviews in a dynamic office setting.

Candidates with a Bachelor's in Admin/HRM and 1–2 years in HR/recruitment are preferred; fresh graduates are welcome. Work pattern is Mon - Fri (work in office) & Sat (work from home).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Admin, Business Management, or HRM or equivalent.
• Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills and high commitment.
• 1–2 years of recruiting/HR/admin experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Available to start on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum of recruitment functions including candidate sourcing and interview arrangements.
• Liaise with recruitment firm or newspaper agent for vacancy ads.
• Prepare and update records: letters, employment contracts, confirmations, promotions, renewals.
• Assist in monthly payroll calculations.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and handle appraisals.
• Manage conflicts, counselling, grievances and disciplinary issues.
• Maintain personnel, leave, and claim records; filing.
• Assist in events and training; handle ad-hoc tasks from management.

Job description

Perform full spectrum of recruitment functions including candidate sourcing, interview arrangements and hiring procedures;

Liaison with recruitment firm or newspaper agent for publish the job vacancy classified ad

To prepare, administer and updating records of administration work such as preparation of letter, employment contract, resigned administration, employees' job confirmation, promotion, contract renewal & etc.

Assist in monthly payroll / commission calculation

Carry out employee performance evaluation or the appraisal of employee work results on staff confirmation, yearly appraisals or on a periodic basis.

Responsible to manage employee conflicts, provide counselling to employee, hearing and resolving employee grievances and employee disciplinary issues.

Maintain personnel and leave and claim records, and filing.

Assist in event / training when needed.

Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree in Admin, Business Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.

Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with high degree of commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.

Prefer candidate with 1-2 years' relevant experience in recruiting / HR / admin.

Independent & fast learner.

Candidate who able to start working with short notice will be added advantages.
