Job summary

Leighton Asia in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead its Internship and Graduate Programs. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, development activities and job rotations, while building strong university partnerships across the region.

You will coordinate Training & Development initiatives, support engagement and employer branding, and collaborate with regional T&D teams on HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Graduate Programs, Internship Management, or Campus Recruitment.
• Experience in building partnerships with universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
• Proven experience managing internship, graduate, and early career development programs.
• Experience collaborating with regional teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
• Experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industry would be an added advantage.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Internship and Graduate Programs, including recruitment, onboarding, development activities, and job rotations.
• Build and maintain partnerships with universities and educational institutions and participate in career fairs and campus recruitment activities.
• Coordinate Training & Development (T&D) initiatives, including training needs analysis, training rollouts, and employee development programs.
• Organize and support employee engagement, wellbeing, and employer branding activities.
• Collaborate with regional T&D teams and provide support across other HR functions and HR projects as required.
