Job summary

SAM Malaysia, a key player in precision machining, equipment integration and automation solutions, seeks a Human Resources Officer to handle HR Shared Service daily operations and ensure records accuracy and data privacy.

You will manage onboarding for new hires, maintain employee profiles, oversee time and attendance, and assist with benefits administration while reporting and generating HR reports. Collaboration with IT to automate HR processes is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years’ experience as HR generalist.
• Team player and independent.
• Sense of urgency to work under pressure.
• Well versed in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient delivery of HR Operational processes including onboarding, employee records, time and attendance, leaver process, resignation clearance, etc.
• Coordinate and administer staff onboarding programme (Induction) for new hires.
• Maintain employees’ profiles in HR system and personnel files.
• Provide HR transactional administration and support for designated business areas.
• Initiate process improvements and work with IT to automate HR processes.
• Support group insurance & medical benefits administrations and medical surveillance arrangements.
• Manage uniforms, safety shoes & vehicle stickers.
