Job summary

Hyatt Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager - Human Resources to support the HR division in line with Hyatt's Purpose and Values and assist the Director of HR in day-to-day operations.

The role focuses on HR coordination, staff relations and delivering exceptional service in a luxury hotel setting, with emphasis on adhering to local employment regulations. Local candidates preferred (Malaysian citizen or PR).

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience as Human Resources Officer in an international luxury hotel chain.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the HR department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Support the Director of Human Resources or HR Manager with implementing Hyatt's Purpose and Values.
• Ensure guest, associate and owner expectations are met and HR activities run smoothly.
