Job summary

Penguin Solutions is seeking an HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. You will be the go-to contact for employees and managers, ensuring timely HR service delivery and accurate data.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and leaders to meet organizational objectives and workforce needs, while maintaining confidentiality and driving process improvements within a flexible, outcomes-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to or experience with an HRIS is preferred; experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (SuccessFactors).
• Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
• Ensure employee data is accurate and handled in accordance with company policies and applicable local labor regulations.
• Support HR audits and maintain proper documentation and record-retention practices.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and system setup.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide a smooth onboarding experience.
• Manage employee offboarding activities, including required documentation and system updates.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Escalate complex employee relations matters to HR leaders when required.
• Participate in HR and AI-related initiatives and projects that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Recommend process improvements and support HR best practices.
• Assist with change management and HR transformation initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
