Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR Manager/Assistant Manager to ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and regulations while handling end-to-end foreign worker processes.

You will support management with labour disputes, maintain employee records, liaise with government authorities, and develop HR policies aligned with employment laws. This role requires strong communication and IR skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Industrial Relations, Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HR and Foreign Worker management.
• Strong understanding of Labour Law, IR procedures and immigration processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Manage end-to-end foreign worker processes including quota, visas, and PLKS renewal.
• Coordinate with statutory bodies such as Immigration Department, JTK, FOMEMA, SOCSO and other authorities.
• Handle disciplinary matters including investigations and Domestic Inquiry coordination.
• Support management in labour disputes or matters involving the Labour Office and Industrial Court.
• Oversee full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to candidate selection.
• Manage employee lifecycle including confirmation, resignation, retirement and retrenchment.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices in compliance with laws.
