Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations in a manufacturing setting in Malaysia. You will develop and implement HR policies, oversee recruitment, attendance, payroll, employee relations, and ensure compliance with Employment Act 1955 and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in HR Management or related field.
• 5–8 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience managing HR and Administration functions.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment and labour requirements.
• Experience handling expatriate and foreign workers is an advantage.
• Experience with audits (RBA / customer / JTK / ISO) preferred.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and practices.
• Manage HR operations including recruitment, attendance, leave, disciplinary matters and welfare.
• Provide HR advice and support to management on employee-related matters.
• Monitor manpower requirements and manpower planning.
• Handle end-to-end recruitment for local and foreign workers.
• Coordinate payroll, attendance, overtime and statutory contributions.
• Oversee administration, welfare, events and communications.
• Coordinate performance appraisal and development plans.
• Prepare monthly HR reports and analytics.
