Your Role
- Partners with the business HR, CoE and department leadership teams to provide HR support and solutions on all people-related matters, helping them address workforce challenges and achieve their business objectives.
- Works with business and departmental line managers to ensure all people’s processes are effectively managed, including recruitment and selection, workforce planning, employee engagement, disciplinary management, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, learning and development, and related compliance requirements.
- Provides guidance and coaching to people managers within the assigned business or department on all HR and people-related matters.
- Handles employee relations issues early and deals with everyday complaints tactfully.
- Provides advice and support for labor relations with unions, such as wage or contract discussions, and carries out tasks that need local knowledge or on‑site presence, especially for legal, regulatory, or community-related issues.
- Develops and implements employee relations strategies aligned with company goals.
- Manages conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
- Manages collective bargaining and collective agreement with the Trade Union.
- Conducts training on employee relations and labor legislation.
- Prepares reports on employee relations metrics and issues.
Your Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial relations or employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to implement strong disciplinary procedures and develop a strategic plan to maintain discipline at the workplace.
- Leadership and conflict management skills.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirement.
