Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR functions in a dynamic environment. You will oversee recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR administration, while developing robust policies and ensuring legal compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in HR with 2 years in management, and a strong grasp of Malaysian labour laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in the property development, construction, or related industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lead a team and work closely with Management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and HR administration.
  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices to ensure operational efficiency and legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll operations and statutory submissions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities to meet the Company's manpower requirements.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Manage disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, grievance handling, and employee relations.
  • Oversee foreign workers' administration, including work permits, hostel matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and HR analytics for Management.
