Job summary

TRAVELOG, a growing Malaysian travel company, is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support people operations and help build a stronger, more structured, high-performing team. You will work with managers across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR documentation and process improvement.

Mandarin-speaking ability is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking candidates and employees, including handling written WhatsApp communication in Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Mandarin fluency (spoken, written and typed) required for employee, candidate, stakeholders and WhatsApp communication.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HR Generalist or HR Executive experience with recruitment, HR operations and employee relations.
• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment, including job posting, screening, interview coordination and onboarding.
• Manage employee onboarding, probation, confirmation and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, leave, attendance and HR documentation.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly KPI and performance reviews.
• Support managers in employee performance and disciplinary matters.
• Handle employee relations and day-to-day HR enquiries.
• Maintain basic HR reports and People Dashboard.
• Improve HR processes, SOPs and internal workflows.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment requirements.

TRAVELOG is a growing Malaysian travel company founded in 2016. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to support our people operations and help build a stronger, more structured and high-performing team.

Use your HR expertise and own end-to-end people operations at TRAVELOG. You will work closely with department managers across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR documentation and process improvement.

Mandarin-speaking ability is required because you will communicate with Mandarin-speaking candidates and employees, including handling written WhatsApp communication in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end recruitment, including job posting, screening, interview coordination and onboarding.

Requirements

Fluent spoken, written and typed Mandarin (华语/普通话) is required for employee, candidate, stakeholders and WhatsApp communication.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on HR Generalist or HR Executive experience, with practical exposure to recruitment, HR operations and employee relations.

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

Hands-on experience in recruitment, HR operations and employee relations.

Knowledge of Malaysian employment practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Independent, organised and strong in follow-up.
