Job summary

UWC Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Human Resources professional to manage local recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will prescreen candidates, process manpower requisitions, and liaise with Finance and external vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and statutory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business/Accounting or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of Malaysian HR regulations and proficient use of Google systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR field.
• Knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB compliance is required.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and online recruitment tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist and handle local recruitment processes for direct and indirect labour.
• Prescreen candidates for Hiring Manager shortlisting and interview planning.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding, including company policies.
• Record manpower requisitions and liaise with departments.
• Manage employee benefits, payroll data, and HRIS/payroll records.
• Ensure statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and compliance.

Job description

Assist and handle overall process of local recruitment.

Handle the sourcing of local recruitment for indirect and direct labour.

Prescreen the candidates for Hiring Manager to shortlist.

Briefing and conduct orientation to new employees (Introducing of Company profile, rules & policy)

Handle and record all manpower requisition by department.

Assist in liase with universities, institutions and related bodies.

Administer employee benefits, including medical, insurance, leave, claims and other company benefits.

Maintain and update employee compensation and benefits records in the HRIS/payroll system.

Handle EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB/MTD statutory submissions and ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian requirements.

Ensure employee personal and payroll information is maintained accurately and confidentially.

Liaise with Finance, HR, managers and external vendors on payroll and benefits matters.

Assist in developing and reviewing C&B policies, procedures and processes.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accountingor at least 2 years of working experiences in relevant field.

A good understanding on how Internet / e-commerce business works would be an added advantage.

Proficiency on Google systems, LinkedIn, Microsoft Word & Excel are required.

Experience in C&B is preferred.

Knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.

Good knowledge of Employment Act 1955 and related HR regulations.
