Job summary

Teleflex Medical Sdn Bhd, Kamunting, Perak, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll operations and statutory contributions. The role requires meticulous payroll accuracy, adherence to company policies, and confidentiality in handling payroll data.

You will verify inputs, process payroll, prepare submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and support audits while ensuring compliant, timely payroll delivery.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Verify payroll inputs, including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, overtime, shift allowances, attendance, leave deductions, bonuses, and other payroll transactions.
• Ensure payroll calculations are accurate and compliant with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare final salary payments for resigning employees.
• Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing.
• Prepare and verify statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp Levy.
• Ensure timely submission and payment of all statutory contributions.
• Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records within payroll system.
• Ensure payroll documentation is complete and properly maintained.
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, statutory deductions, payslips, and salary-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll information.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Ensure all payroll activities comply with company policies, internal controls, PDPA requirements, and relevant employment legislation.
