Job summary

Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering is seeking a People Analyst (HR) who loves data, strategy, and people insights to support workforce planning and HR decision-making.

You will analyze HR data and market benchmarks to inform people strategy, prepare analytics for management reporting, and assist in organization design, job architecture, and compensation analysis, while ensuring governance and compliance with labour law.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business Administration, Sociology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in planning, strategy, analytics, or C&B.
• Strong analytical mindset with good Excel / MS Office skills.
• Familiar with Employment Act, HR governance, and data-driven HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR data and market benchmarks to support people strategy and workforce planning.
• Prepare HR analytics and insights for management and leadership reporting.
• Support manpower planning, budgeting, and headcount governance with HRBPs and Finance.
• Assist in organization design, job evaluation, and job architecture exercises.
• Support compensation & benefits analysis, salary benchmarking, and internal equity reviews.
• Ensure HR policies, governance, and compliance are aligned with internal and legal requirements.
