Job summary

Ingredion is seeking an experienced HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in Malaysia to partner with plant leaders and drive people strategies aligned with business objectives. You will support KPI implementation, performance management, and organizational design to enhance productivity and reporting structures.

The role emphasizes employee relations, engagement, and development, with a focus on compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Laws, Industrial Relations practices, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leaders and functional managers to drive people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance management processes.
• Facilitate performance reviews, goal setting, and ongoing performance discussions.
• Promote a high-performance culture through coaching and manager support.
• Support organizational design initiatives to improve effectiveness, productivity, and reporting structures.
• Partner with leaders to identify critical roles and develop succession plans to ensure business continuity.
• Contribute to workforce planning activities, including headcount planning and talent forecasting.
• Build strong relationships with employees and managers to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, communication programs, and site-wide events.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters and facilitate resolutions where appropriate.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being programs.
• Execute annual HR processes and programs, including performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and employee engagement surveys.
• Support learning and development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
• Drive HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide day-to-day HR advisory support on policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and support foreign worker administration and permit-related processes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
