Job summary

YF Packaging in Merlimau, Melaka is seeking an HR & Administration professional to manage payroll, employee lifecycle, and regulatory compliance. You will handle monthly payroll, statutory contributions, and HR data with precision.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in HR/BA/Management, has 3–5 years of relevant experience, and can communicate in Mandarin. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in HR/BA/Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR/Administration experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and admin systems.
• Mandarin language skill required.
• Willing to work in Merlimau Industrial Area, Melaka.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and labour regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, PCB).
• Manage full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, resignation, exit processes.
• Administer attendance, leave records, and biometric systems.
• Handle foreign worker administration including work permit renewals and medical registrations.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
• Promote learning and development initiatives and monitor training effectiveness.
• Advise management on employee relations and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain company legal documents, contracts, and confidential records.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory authorities (DOSH, DOE, Bomba, MOH, JTK, MITI).
• Issue official correspondence and document management for internal/external stakeholders.
• Monitor office administration, security, welfare, and hostel cleanliness.
