Job summary

Hiredly X is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for our resort in Malaysia. You will oversee daily supervision and ensure excellent service standards across 80 guest rooms and facilities.

You will hire and train housekeeping staff, assign duties and create staff schedules, manage stock and cleaning equipment, and ensure grooming and hygiene compliance. You will report maintenance defects and follow up to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing housekeeping in a resort environment.
• Ability to train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Strong attention to grooming, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Proven inventory and stock management experience.
• Ability to report maintenance defects promptly.

Job description

Oversee and lead the daily supervision and effective operation of the houskeeping department at the Resort to ensure excellent customer service standards

Supervise cleaning of all areas of responsibility including 80 guest rooms and Resort facilities

Perform routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas

Hire and conduct training of housekeeping staff to ensure performance meets the standards required

Assign duties and coordinate staff scheduling

Efficiently manage stock control and maintenance of all cleaning equipment

Responsible to check staff grooming and hygiene

Report all maintenance defects and follow up
