  • Experience working in a multi-staffed private household is an added advantage.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Household Manager / Butler to oversee the daily operations of a private residence in Ipoh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the household, coordinating staff, and ensuring a smooth, well‑run home environment for the family.

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 9.00 am - 6.00 pm
  • Saturday: Half Day
  • Replacement rest day provided as applicable
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of household operations to ensure efficiency and order
  • Manage household schedules, calendars, and appointments
  • Coordinate and monitor the children's daily routines, including school and learning schedules
  • Organize and support family gatherings or home‑based events
  • Schedule and supervise home maintenance, repairs, and service providers
  • Handle household bills and administrative tasks
  • Run errands and assist with personal tasks as required
  • Supervise household staff including housekeepers, security personnel, gardener, etc.
  • Manage household inventory, supplies, and stock levels
  • Maintain open, clear communication with the family regarding household matters
  • Perform other administrative duties as required from time to time
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role as a House Manager, Butler, or Senior Household Support Staff
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills
  • Experience working in a multi‑staffed private household is an added advantage
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality and family privacy
  • Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willing to be based at the employer’s residence in Ipoh, Perak
