Kimpton in Malaysia seeks a dynamic sales leader to oversee all sales activities and events, direct sales, sales administration, and public relations while managing the sales team. This role drives growth through strategic planning and market engagement.

You will work with the Executive Committee and Revenue team to produce the Annual Revenue Plan, monitor progress, and ensure objectives are met. Strong leadership and market insight are essential for success.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years related experience, including Sales & Marketing/Events Operation and management.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends.
• Must speak local language(s).

Responsabilidades

• Manage all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sale team.
• Work with Executive Committee and Revenue team to produce the Annual Revenue Plan, implements and monitors action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved.
• Provide direction to the team to ensure they meet Revenue Plan goals through regular reviews on sales activities and performance.
• Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts on current/potential market, sales trends etc.
• Review daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions with your manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts to produce group/convention business.
• Plan and execute sales trips to potential market and oversee the selling and servicing of group business.
• Meet with guests from major producers/organizers of big events to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate development of all promotional material and maintain mailing lists.
