Job summary

Kimpton in Malaysia is seeking an events sales support role to assist monthly meetings, coordinate site inspections, and collaborate with regional events teams and agencies. You will handle enquiries, manage promotions, and organize trade shows and exhibitions while ensuring guest satisfaction and brand presentation.

Ideal candidates will support budgets and business plans, manage administrative tasks, and maintain promotional materials aligned with hotel events strategy.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly events sales meetings
• Collaborate with other IHG properties and assist regional events sales personnel
• Liaise with advertising agency
• Be the friendly face and helping hand to guests
• Manage uniform appearance and presentation
• Assist with annual budgets and business plans
• Assist with tender submissions
• Handle telephone/fax/email enquiries promptly
• Coordinate familiarizations and site inspections
• Assist with promotions and familiarizations
• Organize trade shows, functions and exhibitions
• Ensure property security and safety
• Prepare administration documents
• Manage sales department mail and correspondence database
• Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic)
• Maintain and manage database
• Weekly statistical collation
• Stock control of collateral
• Create artwork and collateral for flyers
• Maintain and update promotional flyers
• Maintain stock of printed material
• Coordinate corporate gifts and promotional items
• Assist with new products and services development
• Assist with promotional strategies and marketing plans
• Distribute events sales leads
• Execute advertising/creative briefs
• Work in line with business needs
