Job summary

Swaslink Resources Sdn Bhd, based in Kajang, Selangor, is seeking a dedicated Hostel Supervisor / Warden. You will manage day-to-day hostel operations, ensure residents have a safe and comfortable stay, and act as the main point of contact for enquiries and issues.

Ideal candidates bring trustworthy, people-focused communications and the ability to work independently. Training will be provided for suitable applicants to join a supportive team committed to safe living conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience as hostel warden or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Basic communication and people skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations and safety.
• Enforce hostel rules and resolve resident issues fairly.
• Conduct routine inspections to keep rooms and common areas clean and safe.
• Report maintenance needs and follow up until completion.
• Be the main contact for residents’ enquiries and daily needs.
• Monitor security and manage visitor access; respond to incidents.
• Maintain resident records and incident reports.
• Coordinate with management, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements.
• Assist new residents with check-in and orientation.
