Job summary

Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Host - Front Office to deliver warm, proactive guest service at the reception, communications centre and concierge. You will rotate across Rooms divisions and other departments as needed, maintaining professionalism and a flexible approach to guest needs.

Candidates should have a relevant hospitality education, at least 2 years in hotel operations, and clearance to work in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident due to government work permit restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent and consistent service to guests at the front desk, reception, and concierge.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers.
• The Host - Front Office is responsible to assist with guest services in various areas of the hotel, such as reception, communication centre or concierge.
• To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with the hotel's policies in order to maximise guest satisfaction.
• To be entirely flexible and to be able to be rotated within the different sub-departments of the Rooms division, or any other departments as assigned and as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
• Minimum 2 years' work experience in hotel operations
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
• Only Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident of Malaysia will be considered due to government work permit restrictions
