InterContinental Hotels Group in Sabah seeks a Director of Finance and Accounting to balance owner, auditor, and regulatory needs while enhancing hotel profitability. You will lead a team, enforce high standards, and drive financial strategy to optimise returns and guest experience.

The role requires a strong background in hotel accounting, regulatory compliance, and payroll management, with a focus on ethical controls and tax reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 48 years of hotel accounting or auditing experience with supervisory exposure.
• Knowledge of accounting duties including payroll, asset management, government reports, and tax returns.
• Professional accounting designation or finance certification preferred.
• Must speak local language(s); additional languages are a plus.

Mansioni

• Lead and coach the finance team to ensure proper task alignment.
• Set high accounting practice standards and maintain ethical/legal controls.
• Maximise financial returns via analysis, trends, and budgeting.
• Improve guest experience via payment options, inventory control and dispute resolution.
• Supervise clerical accounting staff across AP, Purchasing and Payroll.
