Job summary

Dorsett Hospitality International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee the hotel’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely reporting. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for an upscale property.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, with ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA as an advantage and a minimum of 10 years in hotel finance leadership, with strong budgeting, internal controls and audit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA would be advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of finance & accounting experience, hotel industry preferred.
• Proven leadership in financial planning, budgeting and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance & accounting operations for the hotel.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external stakeholders and manage the Finance team.
