InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks a finance professional to oversee the Accounts Payable Supervisors and store operations, while coordinating with departments on accounting controls. The role supports budgeting, forecasting and month-end close, and liaises with auditors to maintain strong internal controls and accurate reporting.

You will manage journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and vendor interfaces, ensuring timely updates and compliance with IHG policies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' experience in hotel accounting or audit is desirable.
• Fluent English and ability to speak local language(s).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the Accounts Payable Supervisor and the Receiving & Store Officer.
• Coordinate with departments on accounting matters and internal control.
• Report to the Director of Finance & Business Support on accounting matters.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and lead month-end close including reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure timely daily transactions.
• Review AP balances, vendor journals, and inventory interfaces.
• Coordinate CSA control assessments and liaise with auditors.
• Build relationships with internal customers and guests; ensure brand standards.
