Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support hospital procurement, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

You will prepare purchase orders, monitor approvals, and liaise with internal teams to meet patient care requirements. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior hospital purchasing experience is an advantage, and proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications encouraged to apply.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare purchasing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate stock levels through timely procurement.
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders and approvals.
• Monitor delivery schedules and liaise with vendors for timely delivery.
• Update databases of inventory, suppliers, and products for sourcing.
• Coordinate with end-users and vendors on product customization where applicable.
