Job summary

Ipoh Specialist Hospital is seeking a Chargeman BO responsible for the efficient operation and compliance of all electrical systems within the hospital. This role involves overseeing maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted power supply and operational reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering, a Chargeman BO certificate, and a minimum of 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance, particularly in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hospital.
• In-depth understanding of hospital engineering systems and essential services.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage an effective Planned Preventive Maintenance program.
• Supervise and conduct scheduled maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and standards.

Skills

Valid BO Chargeman license (up to 11kV, if applicable)

Familiar with Energy Commission regulations and Hospital Engineering standards

Competency in handling emergency breakdowns

Education

Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

Valid Chargeman BO certificate from Energy Commission
