Qualifications

• Degree in analytical chemistry or related discipline required.
• Minimum 5–8 years in an analytical laboratory within regulated industry.
• 2–3 years in supervisory or leadership role.
• Hands-on analytical testing experience and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff awareness of patient safety and product quality commitments.
• Coordinate work activities across teams and ensure adequate resources.
• Maintain cross-functional/site relationships.
• Provide direction and support based on policy guidance.
• Perform performance appraisals for staff.
• Manage staff holidays and coverage during shutdowns.
• Lead problem-solving and QA recommendations.
• Own decisions related to product quality and disposition of non-conforming product.
• Identify defects, root causes, and corrective actions; support CAPA and investigations.
• Participate in customer complaints investigations and OOS investigations.
• Support CAPA, NCEP, and Failure Mode Investigations.
• Promote best industry practices and QA standards; act as escalation point.
• Review and approve testing/validation data for new/modified products.
• Collaborate with EHS on environmental impact goals.
