Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a Civil Engineer to conduct asset inspections along the North-South Expressway in the assigned region, following the Master Inspection Programme and guidance from the Region Manager. You will perform site inspections, update the NMM PI and NOD databases, and prepare defect findings and inspection reports for the client.

The role requires collaboration with the Section Leader and Region Engineer, third-party inspections, emergency response, and adherence to QSHE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or industrial training experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Willing to travel and conduct site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset inspections along the North-South Expressway within the assigned region as directed by the Region Manager.
• Perform site inspections and assessments; maintain updates of NMM PI and NOD databases.
• Prepare defect findings and inspection reports for client submission.
• Assist the Section Leader and Region Engineer in reviewing inspection results for TEMAN compliance.
• Carry out third-party inspections and prepare assessment reports.
• Respond to emergencies by site assessments and coordinating necessary repairs.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders; undertake ad hoc assignments.
• Ensure compliance with QSHE policies, procedures, and standards.
