UEM Edgenta Bhd is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to lead KM14 and allied PLUS projects from planning through handover. You will drive schedules, manage resources and ensure compliance with budgets and contractual obligations.

You will supervise Project Engineers and site teams, coordinate with consultants and clients, and enforce HSSE standards while delivering high-quality civil construction outcomes on highway infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant civil engineering, construction or highway project experience.
• Experience leading project teams and managing civil construction activities.
• Experience in highway construction, rehabilitation or maintenance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management, contract administration, cost control and HSSE.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage day-to-day execution of the KM14 Project and others under PLUS.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones and resources.
• Ensure activities meet timelines, budgets and contractual requirements.
• Identify risks, resolve site issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities with PLUS, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee civil engineering construction activities and ensure drawings/standards compliance.
• Review method statements, plans and site requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve site issues and monitor workmanship.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals.
• Monitor expenditure, budgets and GP performance; manage cost control.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Lead Project Engineers and Site Supervisors; plan manpower deployment.
• Maintain effective communication between site operations and management.
• Represent the project in meetings with clients and stakeholders; provide regular updates.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and maintain project documentation and reports.
