Job summary

Reinhausen Asia-Pacific is seeking a service technician/fitter to join our global team in Kuala Lumpur. You will perform assembly and wiring of high-voltage test and measurement systems according to production documents, and support customers worldwide.

You will travel for service assignments, set up and operate machines, and assist with manufacturing and adapting parts. We value structured, independent work, hands-on attitude, and strong English and Malay skills.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, electrical systems fitter, or energy systems fitter.
• Work experience as a fitter in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system and represent us as a service technician worldwide.
• Structured, independent work style with teamwork and customer focus.
• Good command of English and Malay; other languages are a plus.
• Valid local and international driving licenses.
• Hands-on, customer-oriented mindset.
• Proficient computer skills, especially MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and wires high-voltage test and measurement systems per production documents.
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Sets up and operates machines and systems; manufactures and adapts parts and components.
• Undertakes service assignments worldwide for customers.

What challenges can you expect?

• You will carry out the complete assembly and wiring of our high-voltage test and measurement systems according to production documents.
• You will carry out maintenance and troubleshooting at the customer's site.
• You will also be responsible for setting up and operating machines and systems, manufacturing and adapting parts, assemblies and components.
• You will carry out worldwide service assignments for our customers.

What do we expect from you?

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, electrical systems fitter or energy systems fitter, or comparable training.
• You will have work experience as a fitter in a similar role, but this is not a prerequisite.
• You are prepared to work in a 2-shift system and to represent us as a service technician / service fitter at our customers worldwide.
• You work in a structured and independent manner and have a committed and team-oriented way of thinking and working.
• You possess good command of English and Malay language skills. Proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
• You possess valid driving license both locally & internationally.
• You enjoy hands-on work and customer oriented.
• You have a decent computer Skills especially in MS Office Suite.
