Job summary

Conlay Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Construction Manager to assist the Senior Project Manager and project team in achieving project objectives. The role involves planning, organizing and implementing projects to meet client requirements, ensuring compliance with construction practices, quality management, and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
• At least 5 years of working experience in construction industry, especially in high rise building.
• Be proactive, responsive to change in direction or priorities and able to work under tight deadlines and fast paced environment.
• Professional and pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and put in extra hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager and Project Team to meet project objectives.
• Plan, organize and implement the project to meet Client's requirements and comply with construction practices and the organization quality management system, including health, safety and environmental aspects.
• Plan and coordinate work and ensure site activities follow drawings, contract specs, schedules, construction plans, procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure inspections and tests are carried out as per inspection and test plans and that quality control measures confirm to specifications.
• Monitor project completion according to schedule, cost and quality.
• Manage project site documentation and coordinate the Consultant's supervision team.
• Check and verify contractor submissions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project site schedules.
