Job summary

Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) seeks a hardworking Helper to support our project and site teams with daily operational tasks on construction sites in Malaysia. You will assist with materials, tools, and work areas while following safety procedures and company requirements.

Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply; be physically fit, able to work outdoors, and willing to travel or work at different project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers, technicians, and supervisors with daily site activities.
• Support insulation, scaffolding, passive fireproofing, and corrosion protection works as instructed.
• Prepare, carry, load, unload, and arrange tools, materials, and equipment.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the workplace.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and comply with safety procedures.
• Use tools and equipment properly and report any damage or safety hazards.
• Assist with the movement of materials and equipment at project sites.
• Support other general duties related to project operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of materials, tools, and work areas while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist skilled workers, technicians, and supervisors with daily site activities.

Support thermal insulation, scaffolding, passive fireproofing, and corrosion protection works as instructed.

Prepare, carry, load, unload, and arrange tools, materials, and equipment.

Assist in setting up and maintaining work areas.

Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the workplace.

Follow instructions from supervisors and comply with safety procedures.

Use tools and equipment properly and report any damage or safety hazards.

Assist with the movement of materials and equipment at project sites.

Support other general duties related to project operations.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction, oil and gas, insulation, scaffolding, or related industries is an advantage.
