Job summary

TCIM Sdn Bhd is seeking skilled Heavy Machinery Technicians/Mechanics to join its Service Department in Kota Kinabalu. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a diverse fleet including forklifts, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include complex diagnostics, engine and hydraulic repairs, and precise maintenance to OEM specs. Successful candidates will communicate results to customers and meet monthly labour targets while enjoying uncapped earning potential and

Qualifications

• SKM Certificate/Diploma in Heavy Machinery Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Certification from a recognized vocational school or heavy equipment manufacturer is an advantage.
• 1 year of experience in service, maintenance, and repair of industrial or construction heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic control systems.
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving for complex or intermittent faults.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect and diagnose heavy equipment to isolate faults and anomalies.
• Execute major and minor repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components per manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams and identify parts using manuals.
• Maintain service logs detailing time, materials, and resolution steps.
• Aim to fix issues during a single field service visit to minimize downtime.
• Explain findings to customers and advise on necessary repairs and upsell when appropriate.
• Adhere to Do's and Don'ts in customer premises and service vehicle handling.
• Meet monthly labour utilization targets.
