Job summary

TCIM is looking for skilled Heavy Machinery Technicians/Mechanics to join the Service Department across Melaka, Ipoh, Butterworth, Sarawak & Sabah. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, ensuring OEM compliance and safety standards.

Preferred qualifications include SKM/Diploma in Heavy Machinery Mechanics and vocational certifications. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply with strong diagnostic and repair aptitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and diagnostic testing of heavy machinery.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Familiarity with OEM specifications and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect and perform advanced diagnostic testing on heavy equipment to isolate faults.
• Execute major and minor repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Disassemble, inspect and reassemble machinery components per manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams using manuals for parts identification and repair sequences.
• Maintain detailed service logs and repair records for traceability.
• Strive to fix equipment in a single field service trip to minimize downtime.
• Communicate findings to customers and advise on necessary repairs.
• Adhere to the service department's Do's and Don'ts policy for vehicle handling.
• Strive to meet monthly labour utilization targets.
