Job summary

TCIM Sdn Bhd is seeking skilled Heavy Machinery Technicians/Mechanics to join the Service Department across Malaysia. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators and hydraulic systems, while ensuring OEM specifications and safety standards are met.

The role involves major/minor repairs, reading schematics, maintaining service records, and communicating with customers to propose corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in heavy machinery mechanics or related field
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1 year servicing/maintenance experience advantageous
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
• Ability to read schematics and follow OEM specs and safety policies

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform advanced diagnostic testing on heavy equipment to identify faults
• Repair major and minor sub-systems including diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble machinery components per manufacturer specs
• Interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals for accurate parts and repair sequences
• Maintain detailed service logs of time, materials and resolutions for traceability
• Strive to complete repairs during single field visits to minimize downtime
• Communicate findings to customers and advise on necessary repairs
• Follow Do's and Don'ts for customer care and service vehicle handling
