Job summary

KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital is seeking an experienced administrator to support the Operation Manager and oversee daily hospital operations including Admissions, Cashier and Billing. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, accounts receivable, and ensuring proper documentation for all patient charges and insurance forms.

You will train staff, review KPIs, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while maintaining high standards of patient and colleague service in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in hospital/healthcare.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of Admissions, Cashier, Billing, GL Verification, Credit Management, and Emergency Registrations.
• Prepare monthly reports for management review.
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable and ensure invoices are billed accurately.
• Ensure completeness of insurance reports, documents, invoices, guarantees and insurance forms.
• Develop a systematic flow between clinic staff, nurses and finance for accurate charges with proper documentation.
• Monitor outstanding cases and follow up through all channels; manage staff and provide training.
• Review KPI results and conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews; handle staff discipline and counselling as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45002, MSQH) and safety regulations; participate in 5S and The KPJ Way practices.
