LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. seeks an Health, Safety, and Environment Engineer to develop and maintain EHS policies and ISO 14001/45001 systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Malaysia.

The role requires DOSH SHO certification, 5+ years of EHS experience, and strong knowledge of local regulations. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Safety & Health / Environmental / Science / Engineering.
• SHO (Green Book) by DOSH Malaysia is compulsory.
• Minimum 5 years EHS experience in manufacturing/chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia EHS regulations and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
• Hands-on experience in chemical safety, waste management, audits, and emergency response.
• Certified RPO is an advantage; familiarity with AELB regulations and radiation safety is a plus.
• Strong investigation, analytical, problem-solving skills; able to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Mandarin – spoken and written – is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with Malaysia legal, customer, and company EHS requirements.
• Liaise with authorities (DOSH, DOE, Bomba, etc.).
• Oversee contractor safety, chemical handling, and scheduled waste management.
• Lead incident/accident investigation and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Plan and conduct emergency drills, ERP and business continuity exercises.
• Ensure emergency equipment, first aid and clinic readiness and compliance.
• Conduct EHS inspections, audit, and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver EHS training and promote safety culture.
• Support EHS projects and provide technical guidance to operations/engineering.
• Act as Secretary for Safety & Health Committee and manage poison licensing compliance.
• Perform other assigned EHS duties.

Strong knowledge of Malaysia EHS regulations and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.

Hands-on experience in chemical safety, waste management, audits, emergency response.

Certified RPO (Radiation Protection Officer) is an advantage. Familiarity with AELB regulations, licensing processes, and radiation safety compliance will be an added plus.
