Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is recruiting for an Executive, Health Information Management System to support medical records processing, coding, and patient data accuracy. The role involves ICD coding, MOH data submission, and coordination with IT to register new codes.

The candidate will prepare reports, perform audits, and liaise with hospital management to ensure compliance with MOH guidelines and quality standards. Diploma or degree in a relevant field is required, with 1-5 years of HIMS experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree or other relevant qualifications.
• 1-5 years of experience in a medical organization preferred.
• Familiarity with HIMS/medical records and filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in checking and documenting medical record notes, ensuring accuracy.
• Assign ICD and external cause or procedure codes for inpatient cases per ICD rules.
• Conduct coding audits to ensure accuracy and consistency of medical records.
