Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and customer service. You will drive strategy, optimize service levels and ensure governance and regulatory compliance within a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Min.15 years of experience in supply chain leadership, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Experience within specialty chemicals, ingredients, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives, including digitalization, automation, network optimization, operational excellence, and organizational change.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a matrixed regional and global organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Broad functional expertise across key supply chain disciplines, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, customer service, and supply chain excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring an integrated, agile, and customer-centric operating model that creates sustainable competitive advantage.
• Drive the development and execution of supply chain strategies that support business growth, optimizes service levels, strengthens resilience, and enhance overall enterprise performance.
• Oversee all supply chain functions across Malaysia, including QHSE, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, Warehousing, and Customer Service, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market requirements.
• Lead the transformation of the supply chain organization through digitalization, automation, process excellence, and continuous modernization of capabilities and operating models.
• Shape and optimize the manufacturing and distribution network to improve responsiveness, operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term value creation.
• Establish a culture of operational excellence by embedding best practices, performance discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management, business continuity, and regulatory compliance frameworks are in place to safeguard business operations and reputation.
• Own end-to-end supply chain performance, driving excellence across customer service, cost management, inventory optimization, productivity, quality, and operational reliability.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations that support decision-making, growth ambitions, and long-term business objectives.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and future-ready organization, fostering strong capabilities, succession pipelines, and a culture of accountability and engagement.
