Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Min. 15 years in supply chain leadership with end-to-end operations experience.
• Experience in chemicals, ingredients, life sciences, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Proven ability to lead strategic transformation, digitalization, automation and organizational change.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influence in a matrix regional/global structure.
• Broad expertise across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and customer service.

This position provides strategic and operational leadership for the country's supply chain function, encompassing manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, customer service, infrastructure, systems, processes, and organizational capability. The role ensures alignment with local business objectives while supporting regional and global supply chain strategies.

Leading a complex network of manufacturing sites, distribution centers, warehouses, cross-functional business teams, and third-party logistics partners, the Head of Supply Chain is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and customer-centric operations while driving sustainable business performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide executive leadership for the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring an integrated, agile, and customer-centric operating model that creates sustainable competitive advantage.
• Drive the development and execution of supply chain strategies that support business growth, optimize service levels, strengthen resilience, and enhance overall enterprise performance.
• Oversee all supply chain functions across Malaysia, including QHSE, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Distribution, Warehousing, and Customer Service, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market requirements.
• Lead the transformation of the supply chain organization through digitalization, automation, process excellence, and continuous modernization of capabilities and operating models.
• Shape and optimize the manufacturing and distribution network to improve responsiveness, operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term value creation.
• Establish a culture of operational excellence by embedding best practices, performance discipline, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management, business continuity, and regulatory compliance frameworks are in place to safeguard business operations and reputation.
• Own end-to-end supply chain performance, driving excellence across customer service, cost management, inventory optimization, productivity, quality, and operational reliability.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations that support decision-making, growth ambitions, and long-term business objectives.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and future-ready organization, fostering strong capabilities, succession pipelines, and a culture of accountability and engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Min. 15 years of experience in supply chain leadership, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Experience within the specialty chemicals, ingredients, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives, including digitalization, automation, network optimization, operational excellence, and organizational change.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a matrixed regional and global organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Broad functional expertise across key supply chain disciplines, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, customer service, and supply chain excellence.
